NutraPro® is the veterinary brand of NutraPet Products GmbH, an owner-managed manufacturer based in southern Germany. Since 2016, we have been developing and producing probiotic feed supplements and care products, which are available exclusively through specialist veterinary retailers. Our formulations are based on nutritional calculations, not on market trends.

Our approach

Developed in-house, for your day-to-day practice

As a manufacturer, we oversee the entire value chain: from formulation development through production to quality assurance. Everything from a single source, all at our site in southern Germany.

Our focus is on gut health. Around 85% of the immune system is located in the gut; gut flora, organ functions and the body’s defences are closely linked. On this basis, we formulate products in which ingredients are precisely measured out according to nutritional and scientific findings. What is advertised is contained in the corresponding quantity.

Our range includes probiotic supplements for dogs, cats and horses, as well as probiotic care sprays for wound care, dental care, and skin and coat care.

Quality & Reliability

Consistent attention to detail from the very first stage of production right through to delivery

Our production is certified to IFS Higher Level (over 95%). Every stage of production is subject to defined processes: raw material testing, closed production processes, foreign body detection, a computer-controlled weighing system, and final inspection of all raw and finished goods.

Testing is carried out in independent German laboratories. Every batch is fully documented and traceable, from raw material to finished product. For us, transparency and traceability are not an extra service, but part of our understanding of quality.

Before a product is released for sale, it undergoes systematic acceptance testing. Standardised testing procedures ensure that the products are actually accepted by animals. After all, technical conviction alone is not enough if the product does not meet the requirements in everyday practice.
