NutraPro® Plus Joints for Horses
The patented active ingredient complex was developed by veterinarian Dr. med. vet. Axel Alber and is protected under patent no. DE 10 2010 024 359 B4. Unlike conventional joint products that rely on single active ingredients, the complex acts on three mechanisms simultaneously: cartilage cell renewal, protection of existing structures and active cartilage synthesis. This triple approach sets NutraPro® Plus Joints apart from many standard joint products on the market.
Yes. NutraPro® Plus Joints is designed as a continuous supplement. The best results are achieved with regular use, particularly for patients with chronically increased need for joint support, for older horses or for sport horses with high musculoskeletal demand.
Yes. The formulation is suitable both for supporting existing joint problems and as a preventive supplement for horses with high joint stress, such as sport horses or horses of advanced age. Daily feeding helps maintain cartilage structure in the long term and supports flexibility.
In principle, yes. The composition contains no ingredients that would preclude combination with other complementary feeds. For patients already receiving products containing glucosamine, chondroitin or MSM, total dosage of the individual actives should be taken into account to avoid excessive intake.
NutraPro® Plus Pro-Age for dogs, 500 g Tin
NutraPro® Plus Pro-Age is suitable for dogs showing initial age-related changes, such as declining mobility, stiffer joints or reduced activity levels. As a guide: in large breeds, this can occur from around 5 to 6 years of age; in smaller breeds, often from around 7 to 8 years. Since the ingredients are designed for support and prevention, an early start can be beneficial.
NutraPro® Plus Pro-Age is manufactured in Germany, in a facility with IFS certification at Higher Level (above 95%). Every step from raw material to finished batch is controlled. Prior to market launch, all products undergo systematic acceptance testing to ensure they are actually accepted by dogs. What is stated on the label is present in the corresponding quantity: claims and dosage are aligned.
The ingredients work on a long-term, supportive basis. Initial changes in mobility or activity levels may become noticeable after several weeks of continuous feeding. For optimal results, NutraPro® Plus Pro-Age should be fed daily and on an ongoing basis.
Yes. In addition to the 500 g tin, NutraPro® Plus Pro-Age is also available as pre-portioned sachets. The sachets are particularly convenient for use on the go or when precise dosing without weighing is preferred. The 500 g tin is ideal for daily, long-term use.
NutraPro® Plus Pro-Age for Cats and Dogs, Sachets
As soon as the first signs of ageing become noticeable, NutraPro® Plus Pro-Age can be beneficial: less enthusiasm for movement, more cautious jumping or generally calmer behaviour. Large dog breeds often show such changes from around their fifth or sixth year of life; smaller dogs and cats more commonly from seven to eight years. Because the formula also works preventively, an early start is worthwhile.
Yes, explicitly so. The formula is tailored to both species. The taurine content is particularly relevant for cats: cats cannot produce this amino acid in sufficient quantities themselves and therefore depend on regular intake through their food. A taurine deficiency in cats can have serious consequences for heart health and vision.
Manufacturing takes place in Germany, in a facility certified to IFS at Higher Level (above 95%). Every production phase is subject to established control mechanisms, from incoming raw materials through to the batch ready for dispatch. All products undergo systematic acceptance testing prior to market launch. The principle is clear: what is stated on the packaging is present in the declared quantity.
The formula is designed for long-term support. Changes in movement behaviour or general activity levels may become apparent after several weeks of regular feeding. For the best results, NutraPro® Plus Pro-Age should be part of the daily routine.
NutraPro® Canine K9 Prebiotic/Probiotic for Dogs
A clinical study conducted by the Small Animal Clinic at LMU Munich (Stübing et al. 2024) compared NutraPro® Canine K9 with metronidazole in dogs with acute diarrhoea. The result: equivalent clinical improvement with significantly better protection of the gut flora (dysbiosis index p < 0.0001).
Yes. NutraPro® Canine K9 is suitable both as a complementary treatment during a course of antibiotics and during the subsequent recovery period. The probiotic strains and prebiotics can help to stabilise the gut flora, which has been disrupted by antibiotics, and support its recovery.
For optimal, long-lasting results, daily and continuous administration is recommended. In the case of acute conditions, administration should continue for at least the duration of the symptoms and beyond. For chronic conditions or during convalescence, long-term use is advisable.
Yes. NutraPro® Canine K9 is suitable for all breeds and age groups, including puppies. Targeted support for the gut flora can be particularly beneficial when changing diets.
NutraPro® Feline Prebiotic/Probiotic for Cats
Acceptance is systematically measured in standardised single-product tests and supplementary pair tests. A product is considered market-ready from around 60%. At around 80%, NutraPro® Feline is well above this benchmark. Acceptance is tested as early as the product development stage, even without being mixed into the feed, to ensure actual acceptance in everyday practice.
Yes. NutraPro® Feline is suitable both during antibiotic treatment and during the subsequent recovery period. The probiotic strains and prebiotics can help to stabilise the gut flora, which has been compromised by antibiotics, and support its regeneration.
Yes. NutraPro® Feline is suitable for all breeds and age groups, including kittens. Targeted support for the gut flora can be particularly beneficial when switching diets.
Yes. Deworming can put a strain on the gut flora. NutraPro® Feline helps to stabilise the intestinal microbiota after treatment and can thus help to promote the regeneration of the gut flora.
NutraPro® Equine Pre-/Probiotic for horses
Yes. NutraPro® Equine is specifically designed for horses with watery stools or soft faeces. Stabilising the gut flora and improving fibre digestibility can help to improve stool consistency in the long term. For chronic watery stools, regular and long-term use is recommended.
Yes. NutraPro® Equine can be combined very well with other products or medications. This means it can be used alongside veterinary treatments without any issues.
Preventative use is particularly beneficial during periods when, based on experience, the gut flora is under strain: when changing feed (e.g. turning out to pasture in spring), when hay quality varies, following worming or the administration of antibiotics, during stressful situations such as transport, a change of stables or competitions, and in horses with chronic digestive problems.
NutraPro® DUO AKUT for Dogs
NutraPro® DUO AKUT is designed for acute use and combines toxin binding (activated charcoal, zeolite) with gut flora restoration (probiotics, prebiotics) and electrolytes to aid recovery. NutraPro® Canine K9 is a purely probiotic and prebiotic feed supplement for the ongoing support of gut health and the immune system. DUO AKUT aims for rapid relief, whilst Canine K9 focuses on long-term stabilisation.
NutraPro® DUO AKUT is suitable for dogs of all ages. Puppies and young dogs in particular are often affected by acute digestive problems, for example when switching diets or following worming treatments. The dosage is weight-based and follows the feeding guidelines.
Yes. NutraPro® DUO AKUT can be combined very effectively with other products or medications. The Duo system helps to relieve the gastrointestinal tract and restore the gut flora, and can therefore usefully complement ongoing treatment.
DUO AKUT is primarily designed for acute use. For long-term support of intestinal health, NutraPro® Canine K9 is recommended as a daily supplement.

NutraPro® Fly Block Coat Spray for Dogs, 400 ml
For large dogs or breeds with dense, long coats, significantly more product is needed per application than for small dogs. The 400 ml bottle provides sufficient volume for regular application every 2–3 days throughout the entire parasite season, without the product running out prematurely.
Conventional antiparasitics use chemical actives that kill parasites after contact. NutraPro® Fly Block works differently: the plant-based active ingredient blend alters the skin and coat environment so that parasites avoid the animal from the outset. Repellent action before contact rather than elimination after. Additionally, parasites do not develop resistance to plant-based repellents.
Spray the entire coat every 2–3 days, also against the direction of hair growth, to ensure the actives reach the skin. For particularly dense coats, it is recommended to spray a few pumps onto the hand and work them in directly. Shake well before use.
Yes. NutraPro® Fly Block is suitable for all breeds and coat types. The 400 ml bottle is particularly well suited for large dogs and dense coats, but works for any dog.
Yes. Fly Block can be used not only on the coat but also on sleeping areas, transport crates, carpets and kennels. This makes the animal's entire environment unattractive to parasites.
NutraPro® Fly Block Coat Spray for Dogs, 150 ml
Chemical antiparasitic products generally work systemically or through contact poisons: parasites are killed upon contact with the active ingredient. NutraPro® Fly Block takes a different approach. The combination of plant-based active ingredients, consisting of essential oils, alters the skin and coat environment in such a way that parasites avoid the animal. The defence is preventive, occurring before contact. Another difference: as the effect is based on plant-based repellents, no resistance develops.
For reliable protection during the parasite season in spring and summer, spray the entire coat every 2–3 days, working against the direction of the fur. Alternatively, apply a few sprays to your hand and work evenly into the coat. Shake well before use.
Yes. NutraPro® Fly Block Coat Spray is suitable for all breeds and coat types. The formula is safe, gentle and kind to the skin.
Yes. Direct contact with the dog after applying Fly Block is safe for humans.
Yes. The coat spray is also suitable for use in dog kennels, on carpets, in travel crates and on sleeping areas. This makes the animal’s environment even less attractive to parasites.
NutraPro® Plus Joints for Dogs
The patented active ingredient complex was developed by veterinarian Dr. med. vet. Axel Alber and is protected under patent no. DE 10 2010 024 359 B4. It acts on three mechanisms simultaneously: renewal of articular cartilage cells, protection of existing cartilage structures and stimulation of active cartilage synthesis. This triple approach sets NutraPro® Plus Joints apart from conventional joint products, which are often limited to single active ingredients.
Yes. The product is designed as a continuous supplement, not as a time-limited course. The best results are achieved with daily, regular use, particularly for patients with chronic joint support needs, for older dogs or for working dogs with high musculoskeletal demand.
Yes. In addition to supporting existing joint problems, the formulation is also suitable as a preventive supplement. For large dog breeds, use in young animals for early preventive care is advisable. Daily feeding helps maintain cartilage structure in the long term and supports flexibility.
The daily dose is 5 g powder per 10 kg body weight. One measuring spoon equals approx. 8 g. The powder is sprinkled directly onto the dog's usual food. For a 30 kg dog, this amounts to just under two measuring spoons per day; for a 10 kg dog, half a measuring spoon accordingly.
In principle, yes. The formulation contains no ingredients that would preclude combination with other complementary feeds. For patients already receiving products containing glucosamine or chondroitin, total dosage of the individual actives should be taken into account to avoid excessive intake.
NutraPro® Plus Dental for Dogs and Cats
The active ingredient complex is registered under patent no. DE 10 2018 007 479 A1 and was developed by veterinarian Dr. Axel Alber. In the context of oral hygiene, it targets jaw health: it supports bone mineralisation, promotes bone formation and improves bone density. A stable jaw forms the foundation for healthy gums and resilient teeth.
Yes. NutraPro® Plus Dental Sachets is formulated equally for dogs and cats. Dosing is weight-based: cats under 5 kg receive half a sachet per day, cats between 5 and 15 kg receive one full sachet. The formulation is reliably accepted by cats.
The pre-portioned individual sachets allow precise dosing without weighing or a measuring spoon. Each sachet is hygienically sealed and individually removable. Particularly convenient for veterinary practice: ready for direct dispensing to pet owners.
Yes. The formulation is designed as a continuous supplement. The best results are achieved with daily, regular use.
Yes. The product is suitable for use in young dogs and cats for early preventive oral care. Regular use helps prevent plaque build-up and bad breath from the start.

In principle, yes. The composition contains no ingredients that would preclude combination with other complementary feeds. For patients already receiving products containing collagen peptides or clinoptilolite, total intake should be taken into account.
NutraPro® Plus Joints for Dogs and Cats
The active ingredient complex is protected under patent no. DE 10 2010 024 359 B4 and was developed by veterinarian Dr. med. vet. Axel Alber. Its distinguishing feature: it acts on three mechanisms of cartilage health in parallel. The renewal of articular cartilage cells is stimulated, the degradation of existing structures is slowed and active cartilage synthesis is promoted. This triple approach sets NutraPro® Plus Joints apart from products that rely on single active ingredients alone.
Yes. NutraPro® Plus Joints Sachets is formulated equally for dogs and cats. Dosing is based on body weight: cats under 5 kg receive half a sachet per day, cats between 5 and 15 kg receive one full sachet. The formulation is reliably accepted by cats.
The pre-portioned individual sachets allow precise, straightforward dosing without weighing. Each sachet is hygienically sealed and individually removable. Particularly convenient for veterinary practice: for direct dispensing to pet owners, for initial supply in the clinic or as a trial size before committing to long-term feeding.
Yes. The formulation is designed as a continuous supplement. The best results are achieved with daily, regular use. Long-term feeding is particularly recommended for patients with chronic joint needs, for older animals or for dogs and cats with high musculoskeletal demand.
In principle, yes. The composition contains no ingredients that would preclude combination. For patients already receiving products containing glucosamine or chondroitin, total intake of the individual actives should be monitored.
NutraPro®Care Dental Spray
Yes. NutraPro®Care Dental Spray is formulated for dogs, cats and other animal species alike. The ingredients are suitable for all breeds and species. For cats, we recommend applying the spray via a dish, as spraying directly into the mouth is often less well tolerated by cats.
Yes. The formula contains only natural ingredients and is particularly gentle on the skin. It contains no chemical active ingredients, alcohol or artificial additives. The spray is also suitable for animals with sensitivities or intolerances.
Yes. The instructions explicitly state that the spray can be sprayed onto a plate and licked up by the animal. The ingredients are designed for oral ingestion and are safe.
NutraPro®Care Wound Spray
The formula is based on natural ingredients and contains no chemical active ingredients. If used in conjunction with disinfectants or antibiotic ointments, it should be borne in mind that these may impair the effective microorganisms in the spray. In practice, it is advisable to apply them at different times.
The formulation contains lactose as an ingredient. When applied topically to skin wounds, systemic absorption in significant quantities is not expected. In animals that lick the treated areas intensively, this should be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Probiotic wound care is generally suitable for supportive aftercare following surgical procedures. In such cases, use should be in consultation with the treating vet, particularly regarding the timing of the first application and compatibility with suture material or wound dressings.
NutraPro®Care Skin & Coat
Yes. The Skin & Coat Spray has a different formulation to the Dental Spray and the Wound Spray. Instead of fermented herbal extract with lactic acid bacteria and yeasts, the Skin & Coat variant relies on three separate groups of microorganisms: lactic acid bacteria, photosynthetic bacteria and yeasts. Organic glucose syrup is used as the carrier instead of sugar cane molasses and lactose.
Yes. The formulation contains no chemical active ingredients, no fragrances and no artificial additives. It is specifically suitable for animals with allergies. In patients with a known hypersensitivity to individual ingredients, tolerance should be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Yes. The ingredients are 100% natural. The product is designed to neutralise odours in the area where the pet spends time, and can be used on carpets, fabrics and cat litter. Accidental contact between the pet and treated surfaces is harmless.

NutraPro® Fly Block Coat Spray for Cats, 150 ml
The cat version of NutraPro® Fly Block contains a specially formulated blend. Instead of Australian tea tree oil and clove oil, which are contained in the dog version, the cat formulation uses true walnut leaf extract. The remaining active ingredients (manuka oil, geraniol, eugenol, linalool, citrus extract, vitamin B1/thiamine) are present in both versions.
Apply a few sprays to the palm of your hand and gently work the product into the cat’s coat. This allows the product to be applied stress-free, even on cats that are sensitive to noise.
Yes. For outdoor cats, regular use every 2–3 days is particularly recommended, as the risk of parasites is higher outdoors. Indoor cats also benefit, for example if parasites are brought into the home via shoes, clothing or other animals.
Spot-on treatments generally work via chemical active ingredients that are distributed systemically or across the skin’s surface and kill parasites upon contact. NutraPro® Fly Block takes a different approach: the plant-based active ingredients alter the environment of the skin and coat in such a way that parasites avoid the cat. Prevention before contact, not killing afterwards. Furthermore, parasites do not develop resistance to plant-based active ingredients.
Yes. In addition to application on the coat, NutraPro® Fly Block is also suitable for treating sleeping areas, travel crates, scratching posts and carpets.
NutraPro® Organic CBD Aromatherapy Oil for Horses, 20%
No. The flavouring oil is free from psychoactive substances. It contains natural cannabidiol (CBD) derived from hemp extract, but no THC. It is also free from alcohol and bitter compounds.
Horses and larger animals weighing 30 kg or more require a correspondingly higher concentration of CBD to achieve a meaningful dose per administration. With 2,000 mg of CBD per 5 ml and 33.3 mg of CBD per 5 drops, the 20% variant is the highest-dose product in the NutraPro® CBD range.
Yes. The CBD oil is suitable for horses and other animals weighing 30 kg or more. The 20% concentration is based on weight, not on the type of animal. For smaller or lighter animals, the NutraPro® variants containing 10% and 5% CBD are recommended.
