NutraPro® DUO AKUT: Rapid relief for acute digestive problems
NutraPro® DUO AKUT is a pre- and probiotic dietary supplement for dogs, specifically designed for use in cases of acute digestive problems. The Duo system combines two active principles: the binding and elimination of harmful substances and toxins, whilst simultaneously promoting the development of healthy gut flora. Supplemented with electrolytes to aid recovery following fluid loss. Packaged in 18 sachets of 2 g each in a Duo format (white sachet + green sachet). Powder with excellent palatability.
Activated charcoal: Binds harmful substances and toxins in the gastrointestinal tract. This reduces gas formation in the gut and alleviates flatulence.
Zeolite (clinoptilolite): A volcanic rock (90% clinoptilolite, 150,000 mg/kg) that aids in the detoxification of harmful substances. Zeolite binds harmful substances like a sponge, which are then excreted via the gut.
Psyllium husks: Possess a high water-binding capacity and can thus stabilise stool consistency. This is a crucial factor, particularly in cases of acute diarrhoea.
Probiotic culture: Enterococcus faecium (DSM 10663 NCIMB 10415) as an intestinal flora stabiliser at 3.75 x 10¹¹ CFU/kg. It colonises the gut and supports the natural development of the intestinal flora.
Prebiotic fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) and inulin (from chicory): These act as nutrients for beneficial microorganisms in the gut and help to restore a healthy microbiome.
Electrolytes (sodium chloride, calcium carbonate, magnesium sulphate): Essential minerals that the body needs to recover quickly following dehydration and acute diarrhoea.
Two modes of action in one system
In cases of acute diarrhoea, the body faces two challenges at once: harmful substances and toxins put a strain on the gastrointestinal tract, and the natural gut flora becomes unbalanced. NutraPro® DUO AKUT tackles both problems simultaneously.
Binding and elimination: Activated charcoal and zeolite remove harmful substances from the gastrointestinal tract whilst reducing gas formation and bloating. The bound complex of harmful substances is then eliminated naturally. Psyllium husks complement this process by binding excess water in the gut, thereby stabilising stool consistency.
Restoration and regeneration: At the same time, the probiotic gut flora stabiliser Enterococcus faecium works to restore the microbial balance. FOS and inulin provide the beneficial gut bacteria with a targeted substrate for repopulation. Electrolytes compensate for the mineral loss caused by diarrhoea and speed up recovery.

Feeding guide for NutraPro® DUO AKUT
Mix into the feed once or twice a day. Moisten with a little water if necessary. Mix both sachets (white and green) into the feed for every 10 kg of the animal’s body weight.
